Dr. TCHOGNIA NKUISSI Hervé Joël est Chargé de Cours au Département de Management Global RSE et Développement Durable à l’École de Géologie et d’Exploitation Minière de l’Université de Ngaoundéré.

Dr. TCHOGNIA dispense plusieurs unités d’enseignements parmi lesquels nous pouvons citer: Electricity and magnetism, Introduction to the design of experiments methodology, Energy saving and energy efficiency, Environmental and socio-economic aspects linked to mining activities, quality tools,
risk analysis tools.

Ses travaux de Recherche portent sur la sciences de matériaux.

Descriptif de votre projet actuel: My scientific activity is in the field of engineering sciences in general and especially in the physics of materials and the application of renewable energies. It relates to the manufacturing processes of thin films solar cells and focuses on the study of physicochemical phenomena that may occur during the various stages of photovoltaic technology. In addition, I am interested in the problems of simulation and modelling of photovoltaic properties of solar cells and magneto-optical properties of massive materials, in thin films and especially nanostructured. I’m also interested in using advanced computational approaches based on density functional theory (DFT) and other methods that can predict materials properties. These kinds of calculations can provide accurate analyses and are better and better able to calculate materials properties at atomic/electronic levels. They can be a suitable way to understand deeply the properties of materials and therefore to optimize them. The application of renewable energies ends this description and concerns the study and design of autonomous energy installations with renewable energies and particularly solar energy.
